There’s no better time to visit a farmers market than that beautiful crossover between Spring and Summer – crisp radishes and fresh asparagus are plentiful, while summer fruits are just beginning to appear. As a former market gardener, I never tire of chatting with local producers and checking out their displays, admiring the hard work they’ve put into bringing delicious food to the community.
